When You Make It
When you make it
Boy will we have some stories to tell
How you made it to the top, top of the hill
How you took life's window and opened it to a brand new day
How you never got down and always had something nice to say
When you make it and you're in your teens,
And we argue about supid things
things like the size of your jeans.
And if I remind you one too many times of how sick you used to be
Just tell me "I'm fine Dad, can't you see?
