A Poem for Jeremy
My heart pours through this lead to wood.
I'd trade my soul for your health if I could.
Your in for the fight of your life my son.
Only five, and it's just begun.
Your eyes are clear and rich with youth.
Your bodies sick and weak with pain.
I have no answers for this terrible unjust.
Have faith In God for this we must.
Your strength and courage I am so proud.
My anger makes me shout out loud.
Please not my son so precious to me.
It's not his time, can't you see.
A day at a time, words I relate.
Nothing I do can stop his fate.
So I sit and I worry and I pray.
Help Jeremy make it through another day.
Love Dad
